Accessibility statement

Brüder Unterweger Gesellschaft m.b.H endeavours to make its website https://www.unterweger-natur.com/ accessible in accordance with the Web Accessibility Act (WZG) implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament.

Status of compliance with requirements
This website is partially compliant with conformity level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1. Non-accessible content is listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

  • Operation of windows and overlays: The control and usability of pop-up windows (e.g. overlays/pop-ups) is currently not fully accessible. Users who navigate exclusively with the keyboard encounter restrictions.
  • Alternative texts for images: Not all images have fully meaningful alternative texts. Alternative texts are missing on special graphic representations (e.g. the Vitalpinum map).
  • Forms: Errors in forms are not currently automatically identified. Users therefore do not receive immediate feedback if their entries are incorrect.
  • Heading structure: The order and hierarchy of headings is not always consistent on individual pages (blog pages). The reason for this is the editorial input by customers within the editor used. This can lead to deviations that cannot be directly influenced technically. This can make orientation difficult for people using screen readers.
  • Individual interactive functions: Some interactive elements cannot always be used as intended. This can result in restrictions in use.
  • Checkout in the online shop: The ordering process in the shop is currently not fully accessible. This particularly affects user guidance and usability for people with assistive technologies.

Brüder Unterweger Gesellschaft m.b.H is constantly working to improve the accessibility of its website.
